Pac-Man
Pac-Man is a maze arcade game developed and released by Namco. The game became a cultural phenomenon upon its release in 1980. Players control Pac-Man, who must eat all the dots inside an enclosed maze while avoiding four colored ghosts.

Created by Toru Iwatani, Pac-Man was originally called Puck-Man in Japan before being changed for international release. The game introduced power pellets that allow Pac-Man to eat the ghosts for bonus points.
Pac-Man is considered one of the most influential video games of all time, establishing the maze chase genre and creating the first gaming mascot. It has been ported to numerous platforms and spawned many sequels and spin-offs.
The game's success led to merchandise, a television series, and a hit song. Pac-Man was inducted into the World Video Game Hall of Fame in 2015.
