About This Game
Rampage originated as an arcade game in 1986 before being ported to the NES. The NES version simplifies some elements but retains the core gameplay of smashing buildings and eating people.
The game's premise involves three humans transformed into giant monsters due to a failed vitamin experiment. Players progress through 128 different cities across the United States, destroying everything in their path.
Rampage became notable for its mindless destruction gameplay and cooperative multiplayer mode. It spawned several sequels and has remained a cult classic among retro gaming enthusiasts.
